iThrive at Hometree 

Personal Development Lab, 2020

A self-mastery campaign event organized by Hometree Co-Working, in which a number of speakers, creatives and artists expressed their thoughts and opinions on the notion of self-improvement and creative expression. 

"HomeTree CoWorking held the launch of its personal development initiative with an inspiring lineup of speakers including Shanuki De Alwis and Lien Kay as well as a live mural painting session under the theme of “Creating Our Dreams” on the 5th of February."

Its Wella Beach Campaign

Environmental Awareness, 2020

An entirely community sourced project to clean and beautify the Wellawatte Beach in Sri lanka. The Wellawatte Beach featured  a stretch of blank walls as canvases for more than 20 Artists to bring awareness to the pollution and degradation of the coast. Organized by Shehaan Thahir and sponsored by Asian Paints, the campaign was a single-day event with mural concepts portraying different themes of environmental concerns and themes

"With the aim to collectively make the Wellawatta beach one of the main tourist attractions of Colombo, itswellabeach also known as The Insta Beach held a mural painting session on the 7th of February"

Live Painting at PBMF Sugar Beach

Palagama Beach Music Festival, 2020

The Annual PBMF featured a live painting session for 2020, from which the pieces would be auctioned for charity

Beheth Korale

Brand Collaboration, 2020

A creative collaboration between Seni Studios and Kalath Warnakulasuriya of Kalaakaru; to envision the brandwork and assets for a small-business venture specializing in local medicinal and herbal concoctions, and aiming to marry traditional imagery with modern sensibilities. Seni handled asset design and website banners for this brand

The AnimateHer Series

Stop-Motion Project - British Council, 2020

A collaborative creative project to produce a series of stop motion animation and subsequent public exhibition. Seni was involved in set production, prop creation and filming. Recently, two of the films from the were awarded Best Animation and the Green Award at the Agenda 14 Short Film Festival and featured on the Rising Garden Film Festival in New Delhi

"An animation project in progress which highlights a group of incredible women living and working in Sri Lanka. This series features the animated interviews of marine biologist Asha de Vos, architect Amila de Mel, author-illustrator Sybil Wettasinghe, tech wiz Lakmini Wijesundera, lawyer and activist Ramani Muttettuwegama, and principal dancer of the Chitrasena Dance School Thaji Dias. This project is funded by a grant from the British Council's Creating Heroines programme."
